MEET EWA

Leadership is about people. So is everything I do.

I’m Ewa Forsheim, founder of Impact People. I have spent more than two decades working with people, leadership teams and organisations — much of it inside international businesses where change, complexity and pressure are part of everyday life.
What I have learned is simple: sustainable results begin with people who have the clarity, confidence and courage to grow.
Today, I combine senior HR and leadership experience with coaching, mentoring and evidence-informed development to help people and organisations create meaningful, lasting change.

People are full of potential. Sometimes they simply need the space, support and courage to see it.

More than two decades of learning what helps people grow

My career has taken me across countries, cultures and organisations — from operational HR and organisational change to senior leadership, coaching and mentoring. Different roles, different people and different challenges, but one lesson has remained remarkably consistent: lasting change happens when we understand the person as well as the performance.

HR & Organisational Leadership

More than 20 years working with people, organisations and leadership teams have taught me to see both the human and business sides of change.

International Perspective

Working across countries, cultures and international organisations has shaped how I think about leadership: context matters, people differ and one size rarely fits all.

Coaching & Development

Coaching and mentoring added another dimension to my experience — creating space for reflection, challenge and the kind of insight that helps people move forward for themselves.

Experience gives us knowledge. Curiosity keeps us learning.

WHAT I BELIEVE

People grow when they have space to think, courage to act and support along the way.

I believe good leadership begins with curiosity — about ourselves, about other people and about what might be possible. We do not need to have every answer. But we do need the willingness to pause, learn and take the next step.

Growth begins within.

Sustainable change starts with greater awareness of ourselves — our patterns, choices, strengths and possibilities.

Progress matters more than perfection.

Growth rarely happens in one dramatic leap. It comes from small, intentional steps repeated over time.

Leadership is deeply human.

Trust, communication, courage and connection matter just as much as plans, processes and performance.

Wellbeing and performance belong together.

Healthy, sustainable results are created by people who have the capacity to perform, grow and live well — not simply carry more.

How I work

Good development does not begin with a ready-made answer. It begins with understanding what is really going on — and creating the right space for insight, challenge and action.

My approach

I listen before I advise. I ask questions before I offer answers. And I look at the whole picture — the person, the role, the relationships and the organisation around them. My work combines practical leadership experience with coaching, reflection and evidence-informed development. Sometimes that means creating clarity. Sometimes it means challenging an assumption. And sometimes it simply means creating enough space for someone to see what they already know.

What you can expect

Clarity before complexity
We focus on what matters rather than adding more noise.

Challenge with care
Growth sometimes requires an uncomfortable question — asked with respect.

Practical over theoretical
Insight matters most when you can use it in real life.

Progress over perfection
The aim is meaningful movement, not becoming some imaginary perfect version of yourself.

BEYOND THE WORK

Curiosity has taken me a long way.

I am naturally curious — about people, ideas and what makes meaningful change possible. I enjoy learning, exploring new perspectives and challenging my own thinking. It keeps me open, adaptable and constantly developing. That curiosity shapes the way I work. I rarely believe there is only one right answer. Different people and organisations need different things, and understanding the context matters before deciding what comes next.I am also fascinated by the connection between performance and wellbeing. Sustainable growth is not about constantly doing more. It is about having the clarity, energy and capacity to focus on what matters — and the courage to let go of what does not.

Perhaps that is why curiosity sits at the heart of everything I do.

Let’s start a conversation.

Whether you are looking for support for yourself, your leaders or your organisation, a good conversation is often the best place to begin.
